Originally from New Hampshire, she received her Bachelor's degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She attained her Master's Degree from UCLA, graduating as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society in the dual Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist Program.
When not working, Marlene enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, movies, and puzzles.
